A certified general contractor in the state of Florida, Scott Buescher has more than 35 years of experience building award-winning homes. The former president of operations for Mercedes Homes, LLC, which he co-founded in 1983, he helped grow the company from inception to the 15th largest homebuilder in the United States at its peak. In addition to overseeing the establishment of the company in new markets, he developed a business plan for newly created divisions and created strategic plans to map company growth. In addition to several National Housing Awards, Scott Buescher led the company to win a Best Company To Work For award in both 2001 and 2005.

Mr. Buescher holds a bachelor of science in business from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. Active in various community organizations, he belongs to the University of Central Florida Board Foundation, and is on the Promise in Brevard board of directors and the United Way board of directors. When he is not working, he enjoys playing golf and boating.
